MINTING GUIDE

HASHPUNK is an ERC-721 collection on Arc Mainnet. A mint is earned by finding a valid Keccak-256 proof, then submitting that proof from the same wallet address.

02 / BROWSER MINING

THE SIMPLE ROUTE

  1. Open the miner.Use Chrome or Edge on a machine with WebGPU support.
  2. Press Start Mining. The site requests MetaMask, adds Arc Mainnet if needed, then reads the live challenge.
  3. Choose GPU or CPU.GPU is recommended. Keep the tab visible and prevent the computer from sleeping.
  4. Confirm the proof. When a valid nonce is found, the site opens the mint transaction in the connected wallet automatically.

03 / RENTED & REMOTE GPU

CONNECT EXTERNAL COMPUTE

For Vast.ai, RunPod or another rented RTX machine, select an NVIDIA image with CUDA 12+, at least 8 GB VRAM, 20 GB disk and SSH access. The miner must search for the wallet that will submit the mint; a proof found for another address is invalid.

SAFER MODE

Send only your public wallet address to the rented machine. Let it return the winning nonce, then submit that nonce from your own computer. Never upload the developer wallet or seed phrase to a rented GPU.

Poll prevWork() continuously. Every successful network mint changes the challenge, so stale workers must stop immediately and restart. Headless miners that submit automatically should use a separate, minimally funded mint wallet—not the collection owner wallet.

04 / PRICE EPOCHS

MINT PRICE SCHEDULE

Mint #1 starts at 1.5 USDC plus network gas. There is no free allocation. The price reaches 48 USDC at mint #501 and 72 USDC at #801. Beginning with #1101, it rises by 20% after every group of 500 mints.

Difficulty increases with the current mint range. Any mint refreshes the shared challenge, so active miners automatically need the latest onchain target.

06 / ART & METADATA

ONE UNUSED PUNK

The contract assigns one unused metadata ID after a valid proof is accepted. Miners cannot select an image. Pixel art files are rendered in advance and their matching metadata is served through permanent token links.

07 / CONTRACT & SECURITY

VERIFY BEFORE YOU MINE

Always verify the domain, Arc Mainnet ID 5042 and the published contract address. Paid mint proceeds are forwarded directly to the developer recipient by the contract. No website will ever need your seed phrase.

08 / FAQ

QUICK ANSWERS

Why did my proof look valid but fail?

Another miner probably changed prevWork before your transaction landed, making your proof stale.

How much does a mint cost?

The first 100 mints cost 1.5 USDC each plus gas. The rate is 48 USDC for #501–800 and 72 USDC for #801–1100. From #1101, it increases by 20% every 500 mints.

Can several GPUs mine for one wallet?

Yes. Give every worker the same public wallet and different nonce ranges. Stop all workers and refresh the challenge after any successful mint.

Can I choose my punk?

No. The contract draws one unused metadata ID after the proof is accepted.
